Meet the Staff

Pastor Troy comes to us from Hummelstown, Pennsylvania but by way of Chicago, Illinois. The oldest of five children, Pastor Troy graduated from Lower Dauphin High School before attending Susquehanna University. After earning a Bachelor of Arts degree in Religious Studies from SU, Pastor Troy earned his Master of Divinity from the Lutheran School of Theology at Chicago where he graduated in May of 2022.

Jackie Titus graduated from Berwick High School in the class of 1964. Jackie is our church organist and treasurer.  She is married to Barry Titus and has two daughters and three grandchildren.  She is past president of the Berwick Woman’s Civic Club, a member of the WELCA, and involved in many community activities.

Jan Hoida has been our Choir Director at Good Shepherd since 2002. A graduate of Berwick High class of 1974, he studied at West Chest University and Bloomsburg University, earning a Music Education-Vocal degree. He is married to Mary Fowler Hoida. He currently is the director of the Community Choir for our local community vocalists.
